1x16 The Prophecy
Sydney writes a love note to Vaughn, cleverly disguising it as a message about "The Man." The Alias version of the Cigarette Smoking Man adminsters the DSR SAT to Syd as Vaughn watches, worries and manages not to put his fist through Agent Weasel's throat. Vaughn agrees to do it with Sydney. "It," of course, means stealing Rambaldi's code key; what did you think I was talking about? Vaughn makes the words "Yeah, I'll break into the Vatican with you" sound like sex talk. If I smoked, I would have needed a cigarette afterward. To celebrate their luuuurve, Syd and Vaughn get matching blue coveralls. Then Vaughn speaks Italian. All across America, women swoon. Vaughn shows his ability to multi-task by asking Syd out to dinner while rigging up a bomb. They use the blast as an excuse for a quick cuddle, then add another entry to their list of future dates. Syd over-enthuses about the "bank trip" ::cough::RomewithVaughn::cough:: to Francie and Will. The Evil Government Bitch Monster of Death and her Fed minions are mean to Sydney.
