No matter what stupid smear tactics the writers employ, nor how many shining good deeds Will does, nor how good the dental work of any potential Sydney love interest, nor how many safe houses defiled, nor how many times we're told it's *wrong* for Vaughn to have a life when Syd can get it on with whoever she pleases, and no matter how many dodecahedrons of cheap romance we're subjected to before somebody faces the inevitable, we will never be manipulated into disliking Vaughn. I can't promise not to dislike Alice (even if I'd rather not), but I can promise that every time we're shown that Vaughn has wronged Sydney in some way, I'll call the writers on it instead of the character.
