Remembering the Warehouse of Loooooove
Furtive meetings and furrowed brows...that's what Alias used to be all about. Well, for me, anyway, at least part of the time.
Which is why I'm loving Lugia's screencaps of Doppelganger!
Lots and lots of concerned Vaughn, augmented by that fluorescent warehouse lighting.
As a side note, I have no memory of Bradley Cooper ever being that blond. Either I blocked out
everything prior to the really attractive buzz cut, or I was clearly
paying more attention to someone else!
That's all for today. I'm going to go try and enjoy the day without melting into a
little puddle from the humidity. Your glasses and/or camera lenses just should not fog
when you step outside!

Michael... a Tater Top?
Kristin at E! is calling for noms again for this year's Tater Tops awards. I'm sure Alias should be considered for some of the "worst" categories! Do your snarkiest!

Legends of the falls
E! has some new reality show involving stunts, and part of their promotion includes celebrities talking about stunts. MV and JG share some thoughts about stunts on "Alias." Thanks to Lauren, Vartan Ho #1879, and VaughnsSerenity at Vartypants Vigilantes for the heads-up.
Back to the pier
Lugia has been filling in the Vaughn screencaps from the good ole days, and her latest ones are from "A Broken Heart."

Today's set of random Michael pics again comes courtesy of Vartanetc, and it's

Aren't you glad Michael didn't spend the episode in a box?
Have a wonderful almost-weekend!

He's worth $144,689,246
There's a fun statistics site called "The Numbers," which lists box office grosses by actors. Michael's page tells us that his movies have made a total of $144,689,246 in theaters 'til today. Not bad!
"Never Been Kissed," for instance, earned a fifth of its total win on its opening weekend, whereas it took "One Hour Photo" a while to build an audience. With over $30,000 total it comes close to NBK's $55,000, though, which is a pretty major accomplishment! Cool facts, huh? Let's hope "Monster-in-Law" will add nicely to that. Not that you can put a price tag on the man or his talents. ;)
Playing Golf with Michael
We've added some nice Vaughn DVD caps from 1.06 "Reckoning" to our gallery. They're in high-res, so you can read what it says on his t-shirt. Hee. Beautiful and sunny day that was...
Take Jennifer Home
You can now pre-order "13 Going on 30" on DVD at 30% off at Amazon.com. It will be released on August 3, 2004. If you want, you can check out Spygirl's review to refresh your memory. This is definitely an own-worthy movie (her numbers page is here, BTW)!
Man in White
A huge number of you have already participated in the new Caption Contest (thank you!), but maybe inspiration will strike again. Try it out! Plus, posting the link to a MiL set pic will hopefully attract others. ;)
May the force be with you today!

Histoire de la vie de la tante de Michael
Michael's aunt Sylvie Vartan has written her autobiography, and it's No. 4 on the French nonfiction best-seller list. It's called "Entre l'ombre et la lumiere," which translates to "Between the Shadow and the Light." You can (sort of) read a (sort of) translated description from the French amazon.com site. Gotta love those automatic Internet translators. Gives news meaning to "lost in translation."
Get out the Ho vote!
The poll's still going, so keep on voting for Michael in InStyle's "What's Sexy Now" poll. MV is listed
under "Sexiest Rising Star" and "Sexiest Male TV Drama Star," and JG
is under "Woman With the Most Va-Va-Voom" and "Sexiest
Female TV Drama Star." Together, they're under "Celebrity Couple With
the Most Combined Sizzle."
May your Tuesday feel more like a Friday!

The many faces of Victor Garber
He attended the "58th Annual Tony Awards" yesterday, and as you'll see he has changed his looks slightly. So classy! You may know that he was already nominated for a Tony four times, but never won. Glad to see he's still a supporter! ;) Thanks to paradox at TWoP for the link.
"For $600 I Became An Actor"
Always a fun little story to read! We've added this older MV interview from French magazine "Telepoche," where Michael discusses how he got into acting. The documentary he mentions is, of course, "Black Leather Jacket." Thanks to Lori and Evansclan for their help!
Hope news will pick up again soon! Though I'm not minding that I can now spend this beautiful summer day outside. ;) Have a nice one, too!
