Usage Guidelines
The Webmistresses of The Safe House would like to be accommodating to Web sites and individuals who want to use content or photographs from our site. In order to make this process as easy as possible, we've posted these usage guidelines.
In most cases, although there are a few exceptions, we would like anyone who wants to post images or content from us on their own Web site
to please write us first at thesafehouse@vartanho.com with their intentions or
requests.
General Content, Pictures, Articles, Video Clips and Spoilers:
1) Always give full credit to us, The Safe House, with a link back to www.vartanho.com if you post any of our content on your site or a message board. The link must be added visibly to the same page where you post our content.
2) You're generally allowed to use our Alias promo pics on your website, but not before two weeks after we've
released them have passed. Then give credit to us, ABC and Touchstone TV and provide a link back to us.
3) Do not repost or mirror full photo galleries, the articles archive or other sections; you're only allowed to take a few choice pictures, files or excerpts.
4) The exceptions to Rule No. 3 are Patrick's screen caps, Jinnie's pictures, Lori's content from Vartanetc, video clips, magazine scans and select content where noted. THESE ARE NOT TO BE REPOSTED ANYWHERE ELSE AT ALL.
5) If we've credited a third person, you'll need to contact that individual to ask permission to repost. If not noted otherwise, they sent us the content with the agreement that it would remain on our site.
6) Our Web site design, banners and section names are exclusive to us. They are part of our identity and are not allowed to be mirrored in full or part by any other Web site. Copyright 2002-2005.
7) Feel free to link to our pages or to download screen caps (including Patrick's) and any other content for your personal enjoyment and creative urges (slideshows, collages, etc.). That's what it's for. Our content may be used in this manner without prior request.
Editorials:
1) All editorials are the property of The Safe House. The opinions expressed are those of the author. If you'd like to post any of these in whole or part on your Web site, please write the author first to receive her permission and further guidelines.
2) For all other purposes, i.e. private messaging or posting on message boards for the purpose of discussion, permission is not needed, but a credit is required.
