Kevin Mitnick

Trivia: Notorious computer hacker who first came to national attention in
1982 when he hacked into the North American Defense Command (NORAD), a feat
that inspired the movie "War Games." Became a fugitive in 1992 after
hacking into voice-mail systems at Pacific Bell. Used the name "Condor"
during his time on the run. During that time, he hacked into computers at
Motorola, Nokia, Fujitsu, Novell, NEC, Colorado SuperNet, Sun Microsystems
and the University of Southern California, causing damages estimated as
high as $80 million. Was arrested in 1995 in Raleigh, N.C., after his
hacking into the home computer of computer expert Tsutomu Shimomura
triggered a two-week electronic manhunt. Spent nearly five years in prison.
Has inspired a cult-like following. To appear on "Alias," producer J.J.
Abrams had to reassure his probation officer that he would only be working
on prop computers.

Trivia: Former video-store clerk whose debut as a writer-director, the
complex heist film "Reservoir Dogs" (1992), became a cult hit. His
follow-up, "Pulp Fiction," won the Palme D'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
Won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for "Pulp Fiction" in 1993. Wrote
"True Romance" and "Natural Born Killers" (story credit). Was planning to
direct an episode of "The X Files," but he refuses to join the Director's
Guild of America and was not granted a waiver to direct the show.

titled 'Roger Moore Is a Towel Thief.' Currently lives in Switzerland.

enormously successful Broadway writing/producing team of (Howard) Lindsay
and Crouse.
