The Fashion Assassin
Target: Parity
This episode brought to you by: Alcoholics Anonymous. There's no greater argument for permanently going on the wagon than the tequila scene.
Syd looks really good when she goes to surprise Jack. Great hair, great
makeup and a very elegant-yet-sexy little black dress.
Nice striped, long-sleeved T-shirt there, Syd. You going boating?
Woohoo, our first sighting of Casual!Vaughn! Score! Burgundy is a very good
color for him. And, look, it's Donovan!
I like Syd's red dress in Madrid in theory, but somehow it's just not as
flattering as most of her other outfits. It's no blue rubber dress.
Why I Am Not a Spy, #137: When my bra shows over my neckline, it's a tacky
fashion faux pas. When Syd's shows, it's a sexy little tease.
Anna gets practical mission-fashion. Her waitress outfit would cause
zero difficulties in climbing, scrambling or fighting. Although people
would keep distracting you by asking you for crab puffs and martinis and
stuff.
Syd's turtleneck at her first meeting with Smarmbert: Subconscious or
deliberate "I'm not being sexy for you, you non-Vaughn weasel"
fashion choice? Her gray tank and black skirt for the newsstand meet was
really classy, though. I'd wear that.
[gratuitous Buffy reference]Did SD-6 borrow the Initiative to do
security at the Berlin meet?[/gratuitous Buffy reference]
A stadium meet with your mortal enemy always calls for a kicky pair of boots.
Jeez, what the hell kind of international spy is Anna? She's so freaking
practical with her wardrobe choices! Pants again? I mean,
they're flattering and all, but they don't exactly scream "Look at me, I'm
on the cutting edge of sexy spy fashion!" now do they? Clearly, Syd must be
the better spy, because she has sexier outfits. Her long jacket is really
snazzy, though.
