Summary:
Last week, Sydney wasn't able to switch the ampule's, and Dixon walked in on their deal. Today, Vaughn tries to warn Sydney, and the CIA agent try to stop Dixon, but Dixon breaks through anyway. Sark runs away, taking the real ampule, but Vaughn catches him. He knows Sydney is in trouble, so he leaves Sark handcuffed to a fence to go and help her, against orders. Dixon fights with Sydney, although he has no idea it's her. He hurts her arm, and is about to kill her, but eventually Vaughn runs to her and knocks Dixon out with the butt of his gun. She runs off. When Vaughn goes to collect Mr. Sark, he's gone as well. Along with the *real* ampule.

Back in LA, Will receives another call from his source, and he tells Jack. Jack feeds Will information about 'the Circumference', to which Will is confused. Jack tells him he doesn't need to know what it is, but the source will want to know. The source will agree to a meeting.

Sloane tells the Alliance that Emily will be dead from cancer within the week, that she should be spared, and that it would be foolish to kill her now. The Alliance will make its decision later. Talk turns to business, and the Alliance finds that Edward Poole, of SD-9, was in league with Khasinau, and they've decided to agree with Sloane and go to war with Khasinau. Back at SD-6, Sydney returns to work and sees Dixon. They talk for a few moments, and when she goes to walk away, someone walks by and bumps her arm. She flinches, and Dixon notices right away.

At Sydney's place, Will receives another phone call from his source, who sets up a meeting. He immediately goes to meet Jack, and follows Jack orders to make sure he wasn't followed. Will explains that the meeting will be in Paris. Jack gives Will a transmitter so that he can listen in on the meeting.

Back at SD-6, we see that Mr. Sark has been taken into SD-6 custody. Sloane is threatening him. He wants to know where Khasinau is. Sark requests a bottle of wine, jokingly, but Sloane actually does bring one in. They drink and go over plans. Sloane wants Sark to lead them to Khasinau in France. Sark has no choice but to go along with it. Later, Sloane briefs Sydney and Dixon about this mission in Paris. Sark will find Khasinau and sit with him, pointing him out to Sydney, who will then plant a tracer on him, so Sloane can follow him. Khasinau is supposed have a Rambaldi document in his vault in the club. Sloane wants this as well. Also, part of Sydney's mission will be to impersonate a singer.

At the CIA, Weiss is getting tired of playing 'high school' between Vaughn and Sydney, and getting in trouble for Vaughn's lack of judgement when it comes to Sydney. Later, Vaughn takes Weiss' advice and is a bit cold to Sydney when they go over her countermission- to switched the documents. Sydney notices and questions his attitude, but he's just trying to be more professional.

In Paris, Will and Jack discuss the plan. Jack gives Will an anti-truth serum potion to take. Will is concerned for his safety. Will is later met by his source at the same club Sydney is performing in. Sydney begins her performance, spotting Sark and Khasinau right away at the front table. She walks down and pretends to sing to Khasinau, while touching his shoulder with her tracer. Her assignment complete, she finishes her song, and sees something out of the corner of her eye. Will. She sees him right away, but he doesn't recognize her in her disguise. Khasinau's men lead Will out of the club, assuming to a back room somewhere. We see him tied to a chair, and Khasinau's men are about to question him. He's a bit woozy from all the drugs they've given him. Sydney rushes off the stage after Will. Suddenly, before Will can answer any of the goons questions, Sydney busts in and kicks ass all over the place. Will looks up for the first time at the face of his defender, and sees it's Sydney. He screams. Sydney doesn't have time to explain it to him, but she leads him out of the club quickly, and uses her training to fight off Khasinau's guards…all in front of Will who is completely astonished. They make their way out after Sydney ditches Dixon, and Will sees Jack pull up. Will is extremely happy to see him, and Sydney is completely shocked that they even know each other, outside of the few meetings they've had. In the car, Jack explains what's going on to Sydney, all the while Will is in shock finding out that Sydney is involved. Sydney tells Jack that whoever Will's informant is, they're working for Khasinau. This shocks Jack. They have Will brought to a safe house and disguised, and Sydney doesn't know what to say to him. She's crying and neither of them can believe what's happening. Will leaves to be placed in protective custody.

Back at SD-6, Sloane gets official word from the Alliance. They've agreed to let Emily die in the hospital. When Sydney returns to work, Sloane thanks Sydney, in the first scene he's ever shown real emotion, for not going straight to security section about Emily…a consideration he didn't make for her (referring to Danny). Sydney tells him she's glad Emily will be spared. At Dixon's house, he is dreaming and wakes up. He remembers Sydney using the call-sign "Freelancer," one the mission he was shot. Her SD-6 call-sign was "Bluebird." He's torn about telling Sloane about it.

At the storage space, Sydney and Vaughn discuss Will, and what their options are, including recruitment. Will has been placed in a safe house, where Sydney goes to visit him. She knows he has questions, but she can't answer them for him. He doesn't want to know. He's just thankful to be alive and tries to understand how hard her life is. Sydney leaves, but we flash to SD-6 trying to find Mr. Sark…who has had a blood transfusion and can no longer be traced. He's disappeared. In the hospital, Emily's doctors tell her that she's going into remission, while Sloane panicks at the happy news. At the safe house, Will gets a knock on the door and opens it to find Mr. Sark standing there with a gun in his hand…he fires straight into Will's chest.
