The Big-Screen Scene

By Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith

SPOILERS!

Supermodel Tomiko Fraser reports her role in J.Lo's upcoming big-screen "Monster" comedy with Jane Fonda turned out to be different from the part she tried to land. "Jennifer's character was supposed to have several friends, and that's what I auditioned for," she explains. "They ended up cutting all that out, but the producers liked what I did so they wrote this part for me." The Maybelline spokesmodel -- who's currently on Spike TV's "I Hate My Job" reality show mentoring a young man who quit his job to pursue a modeling career -- says she and J.Lo got along quite well during "Monster" shooting. "She was very nice and professional, and I'm also from the Bronx, so she kind of loosened up a little bit. We did some adlibbing back and forth."
