Vartan Vanquished

2008 Aussie Millions, Event 1 - $1,100 No Limit Holdem (2-Day Event) | Day 1

By change100

Michael Vartan

An early position player opened the pot for 1,200, the buttion called, and Michael Vartan moved all in from the big blind for 3,475. The EP player called and the button folded. Vartan turned up K-Hearts, K-Clubs and was in great shape against his opponent's A-Spades, 2-Spades. The flop was 8-Clubs, 4-Spades, 3-Clubs, but the A-Clubs spiked on the turn. The river was the 6-Hearts and Vartan knocked the table acknowledging his defeat as he made a gracious exit.

"Kings! Ace-deuce?" he muttered to himself as he shook his head and walked off the tournament floor.
