Report on the taping of Last Call with Carson Daly

MV

Quick report on the taping of The Last Call with Carson Daly yesterday with MV.

What was he wearing? A blue, striped, long-sleeved button down shirt (which he's worn before) with black pants and black rubber shoes.

What they talked about? As soon as he sat down, CD started off with baseball. MV said he's disappointed (that's putting it mildly) that the Mets are not in the playoffs and that he wasted weeks of his life watching every one of their games. He said something like, "that's over, bring on the hockey season." Then, onto football and how he likes the Cowboys. Mostly sports stats and stuff. CD asked him if he's got a photographic memory and how he knows all the capitals of the countries. CD, one of the guys in their house band, and someone from the audience mentioned countries randomly and MV was able to answer all of them correctly. MV said he remembers the capitals but he's terrible with names. He said he meets someone and 5 minutes later, he's forgotten the name of the person. Of course, they talked about BS. They showed a new clip of him talking to a girl in a bar which most likely will be in tonight's episode.

After MV's segment, they had their musical guest, Pat Monahan. During the musical performance, MV stayed on the set with CD until they finished the song and then walked to where the band was and shook hands with each other. He waved his goodbyes and then walked off stage.
