The 25th Hour: Montblanc Conducts Daylight Saving Time Survey

"If there were one more hour in the day, how would you spend it?"

It can't be bought, it can't be given away and it may be the most precious gift of all - extra time. As Daylight Saving Time approaches (Sunday, October 30th), luxury watchmaker Montblanc asked Americans, "If there were one more hour in the day, how would you spend it?"

Of the 1,000 men and women who answered that question, 42% would spend the extra 60 minutes with family, friends and loved ones, distantly followed by sleeping (16%) and having sex (11%). Only 3% would spend their time shopping or cooking.

While women are more likely than men to spend their extra hour with family, friends and loved ones (48% vs. 36% respectively), men, unsurprisingly, are more apt to want to have sex (19% vs. women at 4%).

Celebrities participated in the survey as well. Television host Ellen DeGeneres, would spend the extra hour not on her own national program, but catching, "More Telemundo!"

James Denton (Desperate Housewives) and Jill Hennessy (Crossing Jordan) can make beautiful music together. Although she'll "play guitar and sing and dance with my son", he'll spend his extra time, "sitting on the deck, having a beer and a cigar, playing the guitar."

Cash Warren is one lucky guy - his glamorous girlfriend Jessica Alba (Into the Blue, Fantastic Four) quipped that she would "spend more time with my man."

Award winning actor, Anthony LaPaglia (Without A Trace) said he would, "teach my daughter the lyrics to 'Lydia, the Tattooed Lady', which is a song from the Marx Brothers, film "At the Circus."

Jennifer Coolidge (Joey) says, "I'm not sure what I would do but the first 59 minutes I would procrastinate."

"If there was an extra hour in the day I'd sit with my roommate and have an amazing glass of wine," says Maggie Grace (Lost).

Hugh Laurie (House) will take the extra hour to "finally get to catch up on all my favorite soaps!"

While Jane Seymour (Wedding Crashers) and Gary Dourdan (CSI) would spend precious time with their children, either watching the sunset or riding bikes.

Chad Kroeger, lead singer of Nickleback (All The Right Reasons), would use the extra hour "preparing myself to be punctionally dysfunctional."

Michael Vartan (Alias) and Kristen Chenowith (Wicked) would hit the snooze button and catch up on their zzz's.
