Whoa! Celebs' Favorite Movie Moves Include Flying, Fighting...and Defiling?
Michael Vartan: "We do so many good stunts on Alias. I love any time we get to
rappel down things. They put you in these harnesses and hoist you
about 50 or 60 feet in the air and then just drop you. You have to
trust your crew. We have an amazing, amazing stunt crew. The first
time you do it, you're like, Whoooaaaa! It's exhilarating to just be
free-falling like that with only a hand brake and a good crew between
you and imminent death."
Jennifer Garner: "I love my stunt double, Shawna Dougins. People always think of
stunts as, like, big elaborate explosions or car chases, but it's the
little things as well, like how to fall properly. Shawna was the
stunt coordinator on 13 Going On 30, and she had to teach me how to
flip over banisters and fall off swing sets safely. She's also my
trainer for Elektra, and I have a feeling the best stunt we'll have
done will be in Elektra...The luging Alias episode was cool and fast.
I love my job. I get to do so much cool stuff and push my body to the
limit."
