In the cupboard…

Thomas: “Come on, let's get out of here!”

Magali: “We're stuck now… It's dark in here…”

Thomas: “Don't move. Hush!”

Magali: “Thomas… Can I tell you something I never told anybody?

Thomas: “Yeah.”

Magali: “ I think I'm in love with you.”

Thomas: “What?!”

Magali: “I'm not joking, you know. It's getting stronger within me. It's getting more and more… I know there's Caroline but I'm sure I can make you forget her. Do you want to give me a little kiss?”

(She kisses him)

Thomas: “Listen… Wait!”

Magali: “Don't you want to kiss me?”

Thomas: “Can't you see that I only think of her?”

Magali: “But since she doesn't give a s*** anymore…”

Thomas: “Caroline and I have already made love. You get that?”

Magali: “That's not true! Swear!”

Thomas: “I'm telling you!”

Magali: “Kiss me anyway…”

(She kisses him again)

Thomas: “Leave me alone!”

(They get out of the cupboard)

Caroline: “What the hell are you doing here!(to those who are laughing): “What a very clever joke!”

François arrives: “What's going on?”

Caroline (upset): “That's not funny!”

Magali: “We were only having fun!”

Stéphane (about Magali): “This girl is completely crazy!”

Magali: “Me, crazy? Do you know what you are?”

Thomas (to Magali): “Stop it!”

Stéphane (to Magali): “Do you want me to slap you?”

Caroline: “Let her say…”

Magali (to Stéphane): “You're deceived, man, and well deceived!”

Singer (don't know his name): “ For God's sake…”

François: “Everybody goes to bed.”

On the following morning…

Thomas: “Stéphane…”

Stéphane: “She couldn't sleep because of your damned stupid thing…”

(Thomas gets in Caroline's bedroom)

Thomas: “Caroline!”

(She turns around)

Caroline: “What are you doing here?”

Thomas: “I want to apologise for yesterday… What did Stéphane say?”

Magali: “He thinks that Magali was talking about Isabelle.”

Thomas: “Anyway, I can tell you that I love you so much… Nothing happened between Magali and me. If you don't believe me, that's your problem.”

Stéphane : “Sorry!”

Caroline (ironically): “Really…”

Caroline goes out from the doctor's and gets in her car…

Thomas is sitting under trees while others are preparing the stage…

Caroline: “Do you want to see the basilica?”

Walking under trees…

Caroline: “You're always stuck to Magali!”

Thomas: “You perfectly know that she's just a friend! I love you so much…”

Caroline: “You're acting like an animal, you don't think…”

In the basilica…

Caroline: “Beautiful, isn't it?”

Thomas (upset): “I don't give a s***…”

On stairs…

Caroline: “Listen to me. I've been married to Stéphane for five years. We've just gone through a kind of crisis. He didn't want children because he was afraid of not loving me anymore afterwards. I'm thirty and I wanted to have a baby. I felt lonely, Stéphane went away from me and I had the feeling that he was cheating on me…”

Thomas: “Wasn't just a feeling…”

Caroline: “Nothing really happened between Isabelle and Stéphane.”

Thomas: “Of course, you told him about us…”

Caroline: “Why should I hurt him? Come on, come closer to me. What I have to tell you is very simple… Thomas, are you listening to me? I'm suddenly feeling like I'm a teacher… You're a too young man who fell in love with a married woman. We made love and I tried to forget you. But today I have very important news. Thomas, I'm pregnant and I don't even know if it's from my husband or my lover…”

Thomas: “Are you sure?”

Caroline (nodding): “The doctor told me.”

Thomas: “But when?”

Caroline: “A few minutes ago…”

Thomas: “Are you going to keep the baby?”

Caroline: “Yeah…”

(Thomas gets up and sits down again)

Thomas: “Why are you telling that?”

Caroline: “Because I love you. I didn't know that it was possible to love two people at the same time. I'm getting ready to be a mother since I failed to be a good wife… I'm not afraid of thinking that this child is maybe yours. No matter what happens, it was conceived in love and passion. You're going to become a great actor ^o^ and we're not going to see each other anymore. You get it?”

Thomas: “Are you crazy? Can't you see what you're asking me?”

Caroline: “You're going to act like a man and keep this secret for you.”

Thomas: “We're not going to see each other anymore, right?”

Xavier: “Thomas! Are you coming? We're looking for you for the picture!”

Everybody strikes the pose under the trees…

Magali (to Caroline about Thomas): “It's hard loving him anymore, isn't it?”

Caroline: “What?”

Getting dressed for the play…

Caroline (to Thomas): “I want to make love to you one last time tonight. I know you want it, too…”

Play…

Thomas (to the man who is in charge with the lights/sounds and whom he mistakes for Stéphane): “Listen, Stéphane. What's happening is very serious. I'm in love with Caroline and I think she's in love with me, too. I know I'm young but it happens sometimes. We have to talk and make a decision…”

Man (amazed): “You bunch of sex maniacs!”

End of play…

Caroline (to Thomas): “Join me at the hotel during the party. I'll wait in your bedroom.”

Thomas: “Are you serious?”

Caroline: “Yeah. You'll come, will you?”

Everybody's packing while Caroline is getting ready in Thomas's bedroom…

Party

François congratulates Thomas about his performance as Orlando.

Magali (to Thomas): “Where are you going?”

Thomas (upset): “ Magali, leave me the f*** alone now, okay?”

Magali nods.

Bedroom…

Caroline: “Come in… Take off your clothes… Hurry up, the sheets are cold.”

(Thomas gets in the bed. They kiss).

Back to the party

Bedroom…

Caroline (turning around): “Why don't you answer me, Thomas? You don't want to kiss me goodbye…”

Thomas: “Go…”

Caroline (bending over Thomas): “God knows how much I love you…”

(She leaves)

Party

Thomas and Magali are dancing together. Thomas is crying.
