Some vague spoilers, nothing concrete.
Before they introduce him, you can hear MV laughing in the background.
Ryan: I am going to do the whole build up. I prepared this whole intro.
Lisa: And I dreamt about it.
*you hear MV laughing in the background.*
Ryan: this weekend is going to be hot. So we thought why don't we do a show that celebrates TV stars who are hot. From the television show Alias.
Lisa: Hot show!
Ryan: Michael Vartan
~~~Okay this were my tapes goes a little off, i can't understand it, but I can remember what they said.~~~
My recap: They introduce MV, and he seemed shy about the introduction. So when he comes on the air, he starts talking about how he hears something in the background. Then he goes to say it sounds like a witch riding on her broomstick? Ryan goes on about the witch thing and cracks a joke about Lisa about that.
Ryan calls MV Agent Vaughn and then the interview begins.
MV says that he's getting another call on his line. And asks if he is live, and they tell him yes, and then he says that he is glad that he didn't curse.
Lisa: Hi Michael!
MV: Hi guys.
Ryan: I just want to say from the bottom of my heart congratulations on everything...dude. A couple of years ago you where in here for the first time with a couple of movies under your belt.
Lisa: Never Been Kissed.
Ryan: You were well known back then, now I can't go anywhere and not hear about you. You're on the beautiful list and power list, i don't think your on the power list, but you are in the beautiful lists.
*they start laughing there*
MV goes on about his friends are going be calling now every five minutes since they are hearing him on the radio. And Ryan tells MV friends to stop calling him, that when he goes off the radio, to call him. It was very funny.
They asked him how he is spending his hiatus.
Michael: It sounds pretty boring; relaxing and playing hockey. The best thing about being on a TV show is it's like school. You get two weeks off in the winter, you get summer off, and you can plan around that.
They asked him if he was planning to go on a trip, and he said that he was planning to go France, but that it might take a while. He started talking about his passport, since he hasn't traveled out of the country in three years, it was giving him a hassle.
Then Ryan tell him that once he was in Austria, he went home (I think he meant his hotel) and was watching TV, and he was seeing halk-naked girls dancing on a stage on one channel, and then he flips the channel and see MV talking German on Alias.
Michael was like, "who knew?"
And then MV goes about once hearing the show in Japanese, hearing Victor Garber's character talking Japanese he couldn't stop laughing at that. Then he talks about his brother who lives in France. He says that it's hard for his brother to see someone else do his voice in French, since he speaks French.
They go to commercials.
When they come back they ask him about the DVD
MV didn't know the release for the DVD.
Lisa asked him about Sydney and Vaughn.
He said, his character's darker side is going to be explore a little bit. He said he doesn't know what's going to happen with Sydney and Vaughn. That he asked JJ and that JJ told him that he doesn't even know what's going to happen. When he asked JJ, (MV quoted JJ here): "Michael I honestly don't know, your characters can get together by the second episode or not get together at
all."
MV goes on and says, that he's one of those actors who doesn't like to find out what's going to happen next. And the thing he loves about JJ is that he doesn't stick with something, like he might have these ideas already but as the season progress he might change them all sudden. He also mentioned how JJ also goes based on the public response.
So yeah he basically has no idea what's going to happen with Sydney and Vaughn, like he said, I really believe that Vaughn and Sydney can get together like in episode 8 (so people won't think this is a spoiler, he just gave an episode number as an example) or not get together at all.
and then they thanked him for being on the show, he wished them a happy 4th and left.
it was also funny when Ryan offered Michael if he wanted to borrow some his blouses from American Idol. Because Michael said he was "suited-out" from Alias, that now he just wears a t-shirt and jeans. it was funny cause Lisa Fox, was like, please say no!
