Michael Vartan was born in Paris, France. When he was five, his parents divorced. As a result, the actor spent his childhood shuttling between the small French village where his father lived, and Los Angeles, where his mother had moved. When he turned 18…Michael opted out of mandatory service in the French military and made a permanent move to LA.
He was a natural in front of the camera, so he took his friend’s advice and went for it. A string of bit roles followed but it was his star turn in 1999’s Never Been Kissed that solidified Michael’s status as an up and coming Hollywood heartthrob. His star continued to rise until he reached Hollywood hunk status with his role as agent Michael Vaughn on the hit series Alias with starlet du jour, Jennifer Garner. Life has begun to imitate art as the chemistry has burst off the screen between Michael and co-star Garner.
Although involved in a high profile relationship and a top rated series, this secret agent likes to keep his personal life private. When he’s not spending twelve hours a day shooting Alias, you can find him playing hockey or pool, or his guitar. Michael Vartan has a certain je ne se quois that makes him one of our most desirable Hollywood hunks!
