Who's that guy?

by Moira Macdonald

Thanks to Jinnie for the transcript!

So, did you know there's a Frenchman in the "One Hour Photo" cast? He's Michael Vartan, the dishy Tom Cruise lookalike who plays husband Will Yorkin, the unlucky paterfamilias of the family Robin Williams is stalking.

If he looks familiar, you've probably seen him on the TV series "Alias" (he plays CIA agent Michael Vaughn), as Lancelot in the miniseries "The Mists of Avalon" or as Drew Barrymore's love interest in "Never Been Kissed."

Vartan, who got his start in French movies in the early '90s, can do a splendid American accent, an achievement that can perhaps only be fully appreciated if we picture Tom Cruise making a French film. In French.
