TV Zone Special #48

November 2002

TV Zone awards

Best Actor - Jack Bristow, the uncompromizable, steely-eyed yet soft faced father of top secret agent Sydney, has been portrayed briliantly by Victor Garber in Alias. Some may remember him as the captain of a brilliant CGI Titanic [note: Victor Garber actually portrayed the ship's designer, Thomas Andrews, not the captain], not to everyone here at TV Zone though. He's the daddy.

Best New Series - Odyssey 5

Best Cast - Try telling anyone the plot of Alias, especially for Season two, and you'll have them rolling around in a fit on the floor like a happy naked nudist. It does sound absurd and the plots for each episode probably would be if all eight of the regular cast didn't pull off the improbable each week.

Best Channel Award - The British terrestrial channel, Channel 4, for showing Stargate SG-1, Alias, Smallville, Six Feet Under, Angel, Andromeda, Enterprise, Futurama, Family Guy and bagging The Simpsons.

Worst Channel Award - Channel 4, for editing all of them

Also in this magazine a 2 page spread - one pictures, one text, on what is good and bad about Alias.

Information thanks to Sian, Vartan Ho #336. :)
