Jennifer & Scott (Foley, her husband) are among the celebrities who helped design a room in a celebrity show house in Brentwood in conjunction with the magazine House Beautiful. (Other celebs who participated include Halle Berry, Courteney Cox Arquette & Sylvester Stallone.) Jen & Scott designed the kitchen. (Jen really liked the sink; Scott liked the countertops.) Proceeds will go to a charity for underprivileged children. To see pics from the rooms, go to extratv.com.
"Alias" star Jennifer Garner and husband Scott Foley were cooking in the kitchen while Courtney Cox and her hubby David Arquette were busy in the bedroom.
Cox, Garner, and Foley were just a few of the stars in the house sharing their designer dreams to create House Beautiful's "Celebrity Showhouse" for charity.
Jennifer and Scott worked with their favorite interior designer, Peter Dunham to create a homey nook. This classic kitchen comes with state-of-the-art appliances and old world tile floors. Jennifer says, "We need a new kitchen so I’m getting a lot of ideas."
Courtney used her ideas to create a dreamy bedroom. She and hubby David Arquette worked with Frederick Sutherland, who designed her Malibu pad. Everything is modern minimalist from the artwork to the lighting and Courtney said she wouldn't have it any other way. She says, "It's just nice to sleep in a place where nothing else is going on."
And the other rooms have star power too. Sly Stallone and wife Jennifer worked on the gym, Halle Berry did the dining room, and Reese Witherspoon's ideas inspired the master suite. Tyra Banks even stopped by to take a peek.
All proceeds of the Brentwood show will go to the Children's Action Network, a Los Angeles charity that helps underprivileged kids. Courtney says, “They do so many amazing things from finding people to adopt kids to helping kids stop smoking. I just hope tons of people come and look at this Showhouse and make money for Children's Action Network.”
For these stars, this home is where the heart is.
