LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - After six rounds and over 270,000 votes, the winner of Zap2it's Showdown of the Network Stars 2002 has finally been determined. Combined with Gillian Anderson's win in 2001, it seems that strong women are a favorite of Zap2it users.

It was close, but in her final match-up against "Alias" co-star Michael Vartan, Jennifer Garner won by a margin of 101 votes, taking the round with 2289 votes to his 2188. Overall, Garner accrued 19,590 votes during the six-week Showdown, beating "That '70 Show's" Mila Kunis, "Crossing Jordan's" Jill Hennessy, "24's" Kiefer Sutherland, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer's" Sarah Michelle Gellar and "Gilmore Girls'" Lauren Graham in individual battles, in addition to Vartan to get where she is today.
