Press Release

Form an alliance with "Alias" by downloading screen savers and desktop wallpaper from ABC's website, ABC.com

ABC is offering new ways to enjoy "Alias" over the dog days of summer via one's personal computer -- and it doesn't involve an alliance with SD-6!

Fans can now download "Alias"-themed screen savers and desktop wallpaper photos -- all featuring exciting scenes from the hit spy drama -- by going to the "Alias" section of the ABC.com website and clicking on the "Download" button in the Navigation Menu, located at http://abc.abcnews.go.com/primetime/alias/downloads/ciadownloads.html.

The Windows and Macintosh compatible screen savers have been produced in two versions

1) "Heavy Version" -- a screen saver that pushes the boundaries of traditional screen savers by incorporating actual video from "Alias."

2) "Lite Version" -- a standard slide-show style screen saver.

When the second season resumes in the fall, new episodic screen savers will be available each week for downloading.

In addition, four colorful photos featuring Sydney Bristow (Jennifer Garner) and Michael Vaughn (Michael Vartan) are available to download as desktop wallpaper, with a choice of three screen resolutions.

Please refer to the download instructions for installation. A Pentium III computer with 256M RAM (or Macintosh equivalent) is recommended in order to run the heavy screensaver. If your system isn't equal to that, leave the risk-taking to Sydney. The lite version is just as cool.
