Emmy Picks:

Who Should and Will Win

by Marc Berman

LEAD ACTRESS, DRAMA SERIES
Jennifer Garner (Alias, ABC), Amy Brenneman (Judging Amy, CBS), Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under, HBO), Frances Conroy (Six Feet Under, HBO), Allison Janney (West Wing, NBC)

-Should Win: Jennifer Garner (ABC)
-Will Win: Jennifer Garner (ABC)

In what could, and should, be an upset, the hardest working actress on television today, Jennifer Garner, deserves the statuette. Allison Janney has already won twice in the supporting category ñ thatís more than enough.

SUPPORTING ACTOR, DRAMA SERIES
Victor Garber (Alias, ABC), Freddy Rodriguez (Six Feet Under, HBO), Dule Hill (West Wing, NBC), John Spencer (West Wing, NBC), Richard Schiff (West Wing, NBC), Bradley Whitford (West Wing, NBC)

-Should Win: Victor Garber (Alias, ABC)
-Will Win: Bradley Whitford (West Wing, NBC)

Given that the Emmys have be known to award the same person on more than one occasion, look for a potential second appearance for either Bradley Whitford or Richard Schiff.
