The Safe House - Expositions

I went to Denison University last night to see Jennifer. It was amazing, and just so surreal and unbelievable. As we were waiting in line, we talked to a few people behind us, and they were so amazed to hear that we were from New York!

We got to sit in the fourth row, which was amazing! It was basically the first row for everyone other than family members, theatre majors, and other "important people." (The three rows in front of us were reserved.) I saw Scott, Bill & Pat (her parents), and her sisters, who look SOOOO much like Jennifer.

The Alias clips that they showed at the beginning were the scene where Jack and Syd are talking about what had happened in Badenweiler, and the scene where Syd jumps over all the Asian guys in Hong Kong in Almost Thirty Years, before she discovers the Circumference. It was those two clips over and over again for maybe 10 minutes.

Almost everyone there was either a Denison student, or someone from the area.

Jennifer was introduced by her theatre teacher from when she was attending school. She was wearing a white buttoned-down shirt (which look very nice, and was king of scrunched towards the center), tan pants, and tan boots. Her hair was very simple, as was her makep. She looked amazing.

The whole time I was kinda out of it, just because I couldn't believe it. I no longer think, "Oh, she SEEMS so down-to-earth in interviews"....She IS!!!!!!! She talked mainly about loving the time you have (at Denison), and not to get too comfortable with where you are right now. She talked about her moves, and how she was lonely, and how she WORKED TO GET WHERE SHE IS. She also said something that I quite enjoyed, even though I'm only almost 15. "You're early 20's suck."

She didn't talk a whole great deal about Alias, but she said two things about episodes that haven't aired yet. She told us not to put that information on the internet, so I can't...sorry! She took a lot of questions...people walked around to the two mics, said their name, and asked their question. I went, "Hi, my name is Claire, and I was just wondering...If you could have Sydney go anywhere on a mission, where would it be?" (I was shaking, and I felt SO nervous!) She looked at me, and answered my question, which was one of the biggest highlights of my weekend. She said that she's been trying for West Virginia, but since that's not working, she's thinking about trying to get her to take a mission in Granville, Ohio, where Denison is. Then she said, "Hurry, that man is sick!" in Japanese and Cantonese.

Those were the main highlights, and she made great jokes, and I loved her expressions.
