Regent Planning 'You' Honeymoon Around The World

By Ian Mohr

Regent Entertainment has acquired worldwide rights to the romantic comedy "It Had To Be You" starring Natasha Henstridge. The deal was struck at the recent American Film Market with indie production company Black Sheep Entertainment, and Regent has closed foreign-rights deals with territories including Greece, Venezuela, Malaysia, Bulgaria and the Philippines. Deals also are pending in the United Kingdokm, Spain, and Australia.

"You" was written and directed by Steven Feder and also stars Michael Vartan, Michael Rispoli and Olivia D'Abo in the story of two strangers who meet in New York while planning their respective weddings only to fall in love with each other.

Regent has not yet decided whether it will bow "You" domestically under it's own theatrical distribution banner.

Thanks to vartanetc.!
